Spring is one of my favorite times of year; color is back, the sky is even more blue than usual and my cheeks aren’t the only things flushed with color. Beauty trends for Spring 2012 mean my cheeks won’t be my only facial feature flushed with color.
This season, the hottest beauty look is for the lips; bright, bold colors in matte finishes are everywhere on the runways, complementing the Spring 2012 collections. Bright reds and vibrant pinks are the pop of color that every face needs this spring.
Busy fashionistas will love this next Spring 2012 beauty trend; the roots. At least twice a year my schedule is so busy that I cannot make it to my stylist in time for my scheduled 6 week root maintenance and a few weeks later I realize that my gorgeous high and low lights start at my ears and I have 4 inches of deep chestnut roots.
Fortunately for me, this season that is the style. Women are having their stylists dye their hair to look as if though they deliberately haven’t had their hair done in months by lightening the bottom portion of their hair and leaving the roots and top dark.
Last, but certainly not least is the caramel look. This look is perfect for women that prefer the natural look. With varying shades of caramel on the eyes, cheeks and lips it almost appears as if though you are not wearing any make up at all. This is a Spring 2012 beauty trend I love when I’m in a hurry and haven’t the time to complete my typical make up routine; the deliberately bare and natural look works. Ladies, this season you can get away with just about anything when it comes to beauty and there is no time like the present to experiment with different looks.
